That depth of field is amazing, and the focus on your model is so crisp! I just bought the 135mm f2L, but I'm starting to think that an 85mm may be better suited for me.

At 135mm to get a full body shot you've gotta board a bus.

Seriously, lol. I replaced it with an 85mm f/1.8 and a speedlite 580ex ii, and I'm much happier with that than the 135mm f/2L.

Is your camera a full frame? Remember that on an APS-C that 85 becomes basically a 130mm, and the 135mm becomes a 200mm. That's good if you want extra zoom, but bad if you want closer working distance.

It's not a full frame unfortunately. Thats good to know though; once I upgrade to a full frame its good to know that the 135mm wont be nearly as difficult to use.

thank you so much for dropping by... :D
135mm f/2.0 also have a fantastic bokeh... really hard to differentiate the result with 85mm f/1.2.
I choose 85mm lens because it is shorter so I can use it inside a room.
